Year of the recording

Is there a reliable source confirming that this song was recorded in 1992? The whole album could be recording for two years, but I think that if this song had been recorded in 1992 Nas would've released it as a single. As far as I know it was released first time in 1994 with the whole album Tashi _{Talk to me} 10:58, 22 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
