This article states this person end up in jail for singing Kurdish songs but the edit that clarifies the lyrical contents of those songs are often removed instantly.
In Turkey singing, distrubuting and broadcasting kurdish songs are 100% legal. There are several 100% legal Kurdish TV channel which one of them is state owned and all of them broadcast lurdish songs everyday in Turkey. Lots of Kurdish artists that are singing in Kurdish language does not end up in jail but this particular artist was different from them in terms of political view and support to terrorist organizations. She end up in jail for making propaganda for PKK, a terrorist organization recognized by almost every countries.
When a person saw this article, it is written this particular artist is in jail for singing kurdish songs which is untrue. She is in jail for singing political songs that praise PKK. She would still be in jail if she singed those songs in any other language. 31.223.26.230 (talk) 13:31, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
