Fair use rationale for Image:PopePiusXII choir.jpg

Image:PopePiusXII choir.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. I want to add the following citation at the beginning of reference 3: Wesen des Katholizismus, Karl Adam, 1924,

Rationale: This book-length exposition of the Body of Christ metaphor for the Church predates the other citations. Its inclusion in the reference expands, but does not change, the sentence in the article to which the reference applies: "The encyclical builds on a theological development in the 1920s and 1930s in Italy, France, Germany and England, which all re-discovered the ancient Pauline concept of the Mystical Body of Christ. ... Reference to St Thomas Aquinas

The enyclical clearly states that:

You are familiar, Venerable Brethren, with the admirable and luminous language used by the masters of Scholastic Theology and chiefly by the Angelic and Common Doctor, when treating this question; and you know that the reasons advanced by Aquinas are a faithful reflection of the mind and writings of the Holy Fathers, who moreover merely repeated and commented on the inspired word of Sacred Scripture.

The current article doesn't mention nor St. Sthomas Aquinas nor the Scholasticism at all. As it is currently written, it seems that the doctrine of the Mystical holy and divine Body of Christ has been invented or dogmatized by Pope Pius XII. This is completely wrong and deceptive. I think this concern must be added at the top of the article, e.g. in the section named "Background".Micheledisaveriosp (talk) 19:22, 14 February 2020 (UTC)

• @Micheledisaveriosp: Note that Pius XII is speaking here in #35 not of the term "Mystical Body of Christ" but that "the Church should be called Christ's" (34) and that he "is to be called the head of the Church" (36). Also, upon checking the 13 references to Aquinas' works in the encyclical, I find none of them attributing to Aquinas the term "Mystical Body of Christ". They deal with varioius aspects of Thomas' thought. I've been unable to find any instance where Aquinas used the phrase "Mystical Body of Christ". Perhaps you can help here by finding one such instance. Also, we could be cited for original research and a citation required to a reliable article that documents Aquinas' impact on the encyclical.
