... that Myint Myint Khin, professor emeritus of the Institute of Medicine, Mandalay, was already 89 when she published her first English language poetry collection?Sources: (Zon Pann Pwint 2013) and (Stafford 2014: 24). She was born on 15 December 1923, and the book was published in March 2013.

- This interesting article is new enough and long enough. The hook facts are cited inline, the article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:30, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I don't see anything in the article about being a professor emeritus, and the age of 89 should be made more clear; right now it looks like she was born in 1923 and published in 2013, making her 90. Yoninah (talk) 21:52, 16 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Yoninah, per (Stafford 2014) [1] she was born on 15 December 1923, and she was chair of department (professor) of department of medicine of Mandalay medical school. Per (Zon Pann Pwint 2014) [2] she was a retired professor of medicine, and she published a book in March 2013; she was about 89 years and 3 months old. Hybernator (talk) 03:58, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Hybernator: OK, but please spell it out in the article. Say she was a professor emeritus. Say she was 89 years old. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 10:33, 17 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: The first sentence of the article does say she was a medical professor. Anyway, I've added that she was a professor in another area in the lede, and that she was 89 when her last book was published. Thanks. Hybernator (talk) 04:11, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Hybernator: to my understanding, a "professor emeritus" is a special title granted by the institution; it doesn't refer to any professor who retires. Do the sources use this term "emeritus"? Alternately, you could write:
- ALT1: ... that Myint Myint Khin, a former professor at the Institute of Medicine, Mandalay, and WHO consultant, published her first English-language poetry collection at age 89? Yoninah (talk) 18:19, 20 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: You're right; former professor will have to do (even though she wasn't a mere professor in the North American sense; a professor in Myanmar is usually a department head or higher.) ALT1 is fine. Hybernator (talk) 02:14, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks. Since I added a fact to ALT1, we need someone else to review it. Pinging original reviewer Cwmhiraeth. Yoninah (talk) 11:48, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
- Approving ALT1. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 12:45, 23 September 2020 (UTC)
