Is it NPOV to say that this film is a ridiculous, infuriating mess of excrement; full-colour proof that Werner Herzog is an inveterate hack who’d rather punk a room full of movie-goers with artless trickery-’n’-bullshit than speak to them? or — god forbid — entertain them? Can we get a ruling on that? Muckapedia (talk) 10:34, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

i'm convinced the film is a mission statement against a certain kind of aurally affective cinema... can't explain the persistent soundtrack any other way. Particularly the scene when Brad, Ted and the dwarf look directly at the spectator with either cucurrucucu paloma or some equivalent playing in the background. It seems to be entirely about an impatience with cinematic convention. n — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.167.243.196 (talk) 12:54, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
