Fair use rationale for Image:Now That's What I Call Christmas!.JPG

[edit]

Image:Now That's What I Call Christmas!.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Recording date

[edit]

Stateside, Spears was tied up with her preparation and production for Stronger from October 2-7, 2000. Spears flew to Birmingham, England via private jet on October 7, 2000. She performed the next day there with constant performances in Europe lasting through November 21, 2000 with a few day offs in between, which these short periods notably would not allow time for a Trans-Atlantic flight to attend a multi-hour recording session and be back in time for preparation(off-stage and on-stage rehearsals). Trusting journalists' writings is not suggested as when the articles were publicized, it could easily be those lines about Spears X-mas contributions could have been written a few days earlier and the information from them given a bit before that. Something publicized on October 12, 2000, could have first come to fruition on October 6-8, 2000 from Spears' PR to the author of the article. There could have been articles from earlier in October that talk about her contributions in past tense. Then again there is absolutely nothing that concretely states that she "recorded the song yesterday" or "hasn't recorded it yet". The song itself was recorded in the United States and Spears clearly left the country on October 7. Since it was recorded in New York City, that narrows it down to October 1 and earlier.Carmaker1 (talk) 11:04, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, you're just assuming, as I did when I wrote the article, so I'm just gonna go ahead and delete the month altogether. Xwomanizerx (talk) 11:15, 9 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

GA?

How can this be a good article? This is one step away from stub. The good articles should be "informative" for the readers. For me, this isn't informative at all and I don't believe that it's going to be for someone else. 77.29.83.215 (talk) 10:54, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
