Notes
[edit]Is this a Negro spiritual? Is the race the Egyptians? White people? People generally? Is there some ambiguity? FloridaArmy (talk) 03:20, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
AfC Discussion
[edit]Moving from main article, script didn't remove it. @FloridaArmy: if you don't think it's needed now, feel free to remove this section. I just didn't want to delete it entirely without your OK. Star Mississippi 22:41, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
- "Has been independently released as a recording by several notable artists, bands, or groups." Clearly met. And over many many decades. And documented as an American folksong. Awful rejection by an editor with a long history of bad Afc reviews. FloridaArmy (talk) 03:12, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- Meets the notability criteria for songs as noted above. FloridaArmy (talk) 04:05, 20 August 2022 (UTC)

Photo and audio
[edit]I added a photo request here. Is there a public domain audio file we can add? Is there a template for audio file requests I can add? It's an inspiring song and I believe it's in the public domain as a folk song (although obviously the rendition of it we used would also have to be PD)? FloridaArmy (talk) 13:31, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
