Why was verifiable information removed for biased favorable, even misleading information? —Preceding unsigned comment added by ZingaZingaZinga (talkcontribs) 11:03, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This needs an uninvolved editor look at it Alex Muller 12:48, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think either version adheres to NPOV. Having a section called "low teacher pay" is somewhat abnormal. Build a consensus over the next couple of days. See also m:The Wrong Version --Selket Talk 14:41, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
how, in any way, does this edit not adhere to NPOV? ZingaZinga is intent on vandalising this page. If you look at the page before he started editing it (early August 2010), it looked very similar to the current one. Three wikipedia users have reverted his edits in less than a week. 90.199.150.5 (talk) 17:49, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Facts are not vandalism. Wikipedia is an online encyclopedia, not ad space. Because an article has been updated doesn't mean it was vandalized. It's not important what it looked like in "early August 2010" we don't grandfather in misinformation. As far as "Low Teacher Pay," it is very important, when choosing a school to attend, to know how much the faculty is paid. Highly qualified faculty will not work for low wages. As far as teachers go, the school will only get what it is willing to pay for. This brings up the section “High Tuition”. High tuition and low faculty pay are indicators of what the school is about. It is a "privately owned for-profit" school, that's its legal classification, it is not up for debate, it's a fact. The school is located in California, WASC is the regional accredited agency for schools and colleges in California, and the school is not accredited. NASM does accredit parts of the music program, but NASM holds absolutely no authority in accrediting a college or university. In fact, many high-end music programs, such as all University of California music programs and Julliard (NY) all are disinterested in NASM accreditation, but are regionally accredited, exceptional, universities. In fact, in some states, and some incidences, it is illegal to try and use unaccredited "degrees" to gain employment. If you are a “fan” of MI, that’s fine, but changing fact-based referenced information is not just vandalism, it’s self-centered and dishonest. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, not their own facts.

Why does one person keep vandalizing an article that is referenced and based on facts? Is Wikipedia an online reference sorce or is it just for advertising? Make a decision. Someone who seems to know nothing about research or the Musicians Institute keeps making changes and everyone involved is accused of vandalizing. Facts are facts; they are not determined by who gets away with vandalizing more.

You have been previously blocked for a week for edit-warring on this article but have failed to change your behaviour. Your changes were challenged for being non-neutral and rather than engaging in a discussion you prefer to revert immediately. This is not a matter of whether the original version is incorrect or biased but whether the changes you are repeatedly inserting are themselves neutral. You are making little attempt to discuss the issues and have made no attempt to compromise on the sweeping changes you are making which appear to be identical to the version you previously blatantly edit-warred over. Please refer to WP:TRUTH, WP:3RR and WP:UNDUE. (talk) 14:23, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Faculty

[edit]

The Faculty section appears to have been vandalized, although it is correctly sourced MI Faculty. The whole article reads rather negatively, the overview mentions unaccredited multiple times, yet is sourced with an article mentioned it is accredited. Are there more reliable sources for the accreditation? tedder (talk) 19:09, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I will add them shortly — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.108.79.114 (talk) 16:05, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Section blanking

user 69.233.90.24 appears to be "section blanking" content that is credibility sourced — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ed.Valdez (talkcontribs) 19:02, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
