Roland TR-808 "...from the United States"?
[edit]Under the heading "Museum galleries" there is a photo of a Roland TR-808 with the caption "Roland TR-808 from the United States". I'm not sure that is an accurate description. Yes, the TR-808 was available with English markings for the Anglophonic market (including the US), but Roland was a Japanese company, and all TR-808s were built in Japan.
