72.79.47.89 seems to have vandalized the page a while back and the edits have yet to be reverted. IE: It's a pretty farfetched statement to claim that Bolivia is the most in touch with its indigenous peoples out of *all* countries. The word "Andean" was taken out without justification, reason, or citation. If nobody objects, I'll attempt to merge the current revisions with the old version...--Utopianfiat 20:20, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

'Out of all the Andean countries Bolivia remains perhaps the most culturally linked to the indigenous peoples.' I think this sentence needs some serious clarification as it is pretty simplistic and I'm not sure even true - especially with Evo Morales now in power the class divide has become even more pronounced in Bolivia - for example with the whole La Paz versus Sucre for capital issue, with discrimination and violence against peasants in recent riots and marches. This divide carries over into music as well. This article also gives the impression that Bolivian indigenous music = Los Kjarkas and similar groups, which is a bad misrepresentation, as music in the countryside is actually completely different.
