What it's about

I was under the impression the song was more about settling (for less) than settling down. I.e., it's not as cheery as people seem to think ("I got a man to stick it out", "i guess that's how the future's done"). Unfortunately, I can't find where I read that... but it carried more weight than random people on songmeanings.net...

Article isn't editable?
