Contested move request
[edit]The following request to move a page has been added to Wikipedia:Requested moves as an uncontroversial move, but this has been contested by one or more people. Any discussion on the issue should continue here. If a full request is not lodged within five days of this request being contested, the request will be removed from WP:RM. —Stemonitis 17:24, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- Musha shugyō → Musha shūgyō — Under Wikipedia romanization guidelines, the "u" in "shugyo" should have a macron indicating an elongated vowel. —219.209.107.16 06:07, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- 'shugyō' is correct. --Kusunose 06:26, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose move, correct romanization is musha shugyō (武者修行 : むしゃしゅぎょう). Note also that this move was improperly listed - nominator failed to provide "move" tag and prepare location for discussion at the article. Bradford44 17:13, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- The rationale for the page move is false, as the "u" in "shugyō" is NOT elongated. Please note that Musha shugyō is the correct romanization already, and the suggested page move will result in an incorrect romanization.--Endroit 18:38, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
