Muscone stereoisomers
[edit]The chembox template for this article appears to have some issues. Muscone (as an article), I would expect, refers to the compound in racemic form. Only one stereoisomer is found naturally (R-muscone), the other is produced by synthesis. CAS refers to (+/-)-muscone while Chemspider refers specifically to the R-isomer. The 2D molecular models at CAS & Chemspider are different (the article appears to be using CAS's model). In relation to the article's Chembox template, how or even if these issues should be addressed is beyond my area of knowledge. I'm just sharing this background to hopefully save someone else's time in assessing what, if anything, needs to be done. Also please note my edit (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Muscone&oldid=1191172029), in case it requires correction. I welcome any feedback. Prime Lemur (talk) 00:01, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
