This is nonsense. Your source above is mis-reporting what its source says, so it's hardly reliable. But this idea that we're covering something up is just absurd. The show was never intended to have anything but a thirteen-episode, closed ended run.[3] There are numerous sources saying CBS will consider the show for renewal cited in the article. So what the hell do you imagine we're covering up? Oh, and CBS isn't replacing the time slot. Not mis-reporting. From what you were typing, the LA Times defended the Bustle article. CBS is even advertising Fam on Murphy's time slot.[4]68.47.64.121 (talk) 22:36, 23 December 2018 (UTC)

No one suggested that they have promoted a new time slot for Murphy Brown. What has been stated by numerous editors here is this: 1. CBS has yet to officially cancel the series. English herself says here [5] that the series has not been canceled and that she is meeting with CBS' chief creative officer on January 7th to discuss the series' future. 2. One series replacing another series is non-notable. As Drmargi has stated, it happens all the time. This is especially true in the case of Murphy Brown when the season was always intended to be limited in its run and to be replaced with a midseason replacement come spring. – BoogerD (talk) 23:07, 23 December 2018 (UTC)

Again, no one is arguing that. And, again, it must be pointed out that, that was always the intention. The eleventh season was only ordered for 13 episodes and the season was intended for a limited run that was to end in the fall/winter. If the show did get renwed the earliest it was ever going to come back was the fall of 2019. However, it has not been announced or confirmed by CBS that the series has been cancelled. English, the show's creator and executive producer, even states that reports of that nature are premature.
