Title change?
[edit]The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children(who runs this Facebook page) named her Jane Fond du Lac Doe: https://www.facebook.com/HelpIDMe/photos/a.723215181039725.1073741829.698376120190298/756269681067608/?type=1
Is Fond du Lac County Jane Doe her official name in any capacity? If not, then we should go by the NCMEC name. Asarelah (talk) 13:52, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
- The victim was found in Ashford, Wisconsin which is a city in Fond du Lac County. Usually the NCMEC gives unidentified children names with the city incorporated, yet sometimes they end up with the county name included instead. I would rather stick with the County name in the title, since other victims not profiled bY the organization, such as the Sumter County Does are referred to by the county name. --GouramiWatcher(?) 16:46, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if we should go by names not used by official agencies merely for consistent style. Several decedents already have official nicknames given by investigators, such as Miss X, Princess Doe. and the Lady of the Dunes. I think keeping the name consistent would be best to help disseminate information. Asarelah (talk) 14:01, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- "Jane Fond du Lac Doe" would be a name given by an official agency, as the NCMEC is one. This Jane Doe in particular does not have a nickname such as Princess Doe, etc. Most other UID cases, such as Pima County Jane Doe and Perry County Jane Doe are still known by their county names. --GouramiWatcher(?) 14:53, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- I'll just put in "also known as Jane Fond du Lac Doe" in the intro then. Asarelah (talk) 14:37, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Website of Amy Yeary
[edit]Hello, is it ok if I post a website in Amy Yeary's infobox. It's a Facebook group created by her sister years before Amy was identified. It's called "Help find Amy Marie Yeary and others who are missing". I just want people to know that Amy's family did look for her. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NowhereMan17 (talk • contribs) 07:23, 24 May 2022 (UTC)
