Needs more work

[edit]

This article needs more work (especially in the case descriptions). Wording needs to be reworked, and details fleshed out (some are left out).

The list of actors and characters for the second season is also needed.

Watch, too, for excessive use of abbreviations, especially for those who do not know what they mean.

Also - query: should the cases be listed with a table of "Prosecuting Attorney"; "Defense Attorney"; "Defendant" and so forth up front?

More links are also advisable...  DavidDouthitt  (Talk) 02:04, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

On whether Benzali was dissatisfied with his role in the first season

[edit]

The article expresses the rumour that Benzali was dissatisfied with his role:"Gone were Benzali and his character (it was rumoured that Benzali was unhappy with the first season and left the program, though it has also been reported he was fired)..."

On this subject, the following is what Daniel Benzali said in an interview for the retrospective documentary film on the DVD for Murder One Season One.

"I think artists try and sort of represent people. Not just themselves and their characters but humanity... and what troubles us to express that. This gave me the oppurtunity to do that. And that's why I say this was one of those magical times, if I may say so, when actor and character converged. I... I was Ted Hoffman. Ted Hoffman was me. And that's still the case, in a way. I never got to... I never got to be Philip Marlowe, but I got to be Ted Hoffman. And... I... (almost breaks down...) I'll always be thankful for that. And I'll always be proud of it."

I don't know, but that doesn't sound like a man who was dissatisfied with his work. Perhaps this section of the article should be ammended.Fionnmatthew 00:12, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Factual errors

[edit]

The length of the first season is listed here as 22 episodes. Other sources like IMDB state it as 23 episodes and the first story arc actually takes 23 episodes to finish. The airing dates reported by IMDB also suggest that the seasons are divided 23+18 instead of 22+19. Unless someone presents a convincing argument otherwise, I think this should be fixed.Warma (talk) 07:19, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
