Found a Red link in the article on Optical Storage, so I put this together as I found a robust reference in the Imperial College of London site. Also, found a sentence long page as I was putting this together labeled MODS, so I redirected the links here, as though this isn't terribly long, i feel I have provided a good bit more info than that acronym based page. This is my first new page. Have a basic image I threw together to try and display the process but I suppose I need to be confirmed first to be able to upload it.
Next Update
[edit]Thank you to whomever tagged this as having only one source, it is a work in progress, and work has progressed. I have added a second source from IEEE Xplore, refering to the published notes from an conference on optical storage media. As a result I removed the "largely relies on one source" tag.
I know two sources isn't extensive, but it isn't one, so we are getting there. Plus, keep in mind this is an active area of cutting edge research which doesn't have a huge sex appeal, market pull, or Nobel prize potential, so it isn't likely to have as many teams working on it as something like carbon nanotubes.
Again, thanks tagger, and feel free to contribute. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Inthedryer (talk • contribs) 03:07, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
