Assalamu Alikom
[edit]Assalamu Alikom,
Good article, however, I've noticed that it lacks any mentioning of dates, except for the Medieval era label. Specific dates are not required, just please mention the century, and if possible the islamic dynasty ( example: Abbasids , Ottoman Empire ...etc), during which the article events took place, in order to correctly relate them to the Islamic history. Thanks --Goarany 05:51, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Living or dead?
[edit]Is this person living or dead? One cannot tell from reading this article, which certainly does not conform to WP:BLP or MOS:BIO. --72.75.126.37 06:40, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

NPOV
[edit]Unsourced or poorly sourced contentious material — whether negative, positive, or just questionable — about living persons should be removed immediately and without discussion from Wikipedia articles,[1] talk pages, user pages, and project space.S711 (talk) 14:04, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
I've removed several problematic statements and the NPOV template, please use {{POV-section}} for sections or {{POV-statement}} for sentences, then detail issues here. This will help address them in a timely manner. - RoyBoy 21:24, 13 November 2011 (UTC)

Merge book pages
[edit]Individual pages have been created for four of Tijani's books. They're almost entirely unsourced, except for one which simply sources the text of the book in question to an online Shi'ite website. Considering that Tijani is a Shi'ite preacher, it would seem that this is more of an attempt to push a certain point of view rather than provide worthwhile information to the reader. A page for one of these books was nominated for deletion with the result being no consensus, though many who opposed deletion suggested to keep the article or to merge it. The actual content of these articles is slim to nil, with the only references being to the text of the book itself on Shi'ite missionary websites. What I suggest is to simply merge the four pages for those books into this article and expand the subsection here on his books. MezzoMezzo (talk) 11:28, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
Quran reference
[edit]I think the link that sends one to translations of the Quran points to the wrong place. It should point t0 9.119 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.234.221.56 (talk) 18:57, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
- Hi! the Quran link is pointing to right place as the book discusses revelation of the Qur'anic verse 5:67 revealed during the Farewell Pilgrimage. The title of book is based on Quran 9:119, I have added link to it too. Hope that confusion is clear now. --Sayed Mohammad Faiz Haidertcs 06:31, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
