Notability
[edit]Is this person really notable? (See Wikipedia:Notability.) If he is, where is the significant coverage in mainstream reliable sources? There are passing mentions of his name in reliable sources such as the Times of India.-- Toddy1 (talk) 09:53, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yes he is notableMajun e Baqi (talk) 10:31, 16 July 2020 (UTC)

@North8000: kindly have a look to this article regarding notability. I have improved the article with many sources, Hope It looks like notable, lolMajun e Baqi (talk) 17:10, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- I took a look, although I didn't have the time to assess each source individually. As NPP I would certainly pass this one on wp:notability grounds. If you wished to make sure of passing the strictest possible interpretation you could look through the supplied sources and mention 1 or 2 of them here which are independent and provide in-depth coverage of him. Sincerely, North8000 (talk) 13:23, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
- North8000, Thanks for your feedback, I think the notability issue was concerned so as per me and you we can pass it to notability, so a case could be made to remove the tag, lots of love for your help againMajun e Baqi (talk) 17:09, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
- (Invited to comment again) My comment would be pretty much the same as my 17 July 2020 comment. With a couple of extra notes. Sourcing seems to have been further strengthened since then. The other is to note that you have not done as I suggested ("If you wished to make sure of passing the strictest possible interpretation you could look through the supplied sources and mention 1 or 2 of them here which are independent and provide in-depth coverage of him.") which is fine, but I'm just noting it here.North8000 (talk) 10:56, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

siasat.com
[edit]I see that you have been putting citations marked "siasat.com" into articles.
These are actually to a proper newspaper called The Siasat Daily (see [https://www.siasat.com/editorial-standards/ the paper's website), it is a good source. When you cite it, you need to help the reader to understand that it is a good source. Please could you amend your citations to that site, in the following ways:
- Please change {{cite web | to either {{cite | or {{cite news |.
- Please change website=siasat.com to work=[[The Siasat Daily]]
- Please put the dates in normal format: e.g 4 September 2019.
- If the article being cite has a "by line", you need to add the name of the author to the citation. For example, if the by line says "BY MOHAMMED HUSSAIN", then you need to add |first1=Mohammed |last1=Hussain. It there are several authors, you should list them all.
If you do this, it will improve the article, and give the reader a greater feeling of confidence that what he/she is reading is true.-- Toddy1 (talk) 16:21, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- If there is something you do not understand, ask.
- Wikipedia is collaborative. Sometimes it may seem adversarial, when people ask you for proof - but the challenge is to improve the article where that is possible.-- Toddy1 (talk) 16:24, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- Toddy1, I have tried to establish its notability a bit, kindly have a look If you can improve more, lots of loveMajun e Baqi (talk) 17:28, 16 July 2020 (UTC) Majun e Baqi (talk) 17:17, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
