In light of the years that followed I wouldn't say that Ali was savage or vicious. Though both words were common verbiage used to describe his actions at the time, how he acted and what he said, based on what is excepted attitudes these days, of course paints a very different picture.
Is this report supposed to relay the attitudes of the times? That could be cool..
