Kingarthur581, I think you have mistaken. The NDTV source says Adil Hafiz originally hailed from Bardhaman but doesn't say Mughlai Paratha originated there. The source from economic times says "it is believed that cooks from present day Dhaka were behind the dish". Dhaka seems to be more plausible as the place of origin since it was the capital of Mughal Bengal during Jahangir's time. We can keep the lead as "the dish originated in Mughal Bengal" without mentioning any city. Also, I think Get Bengal is not a WP:RS as it doesn't look like a news agency. Za-ari-masen I agree with you, Mughal Bengal as the place of origin seems more plausible as the economic times source says "it is believed that cooks from present day Dhaka were behind the dish" which doesn't necessarily means that the dish also originated from place the cook was from, as it could've also originated from the seat of mughal empire Delhi, where he worked as a cook for royal family. And unlike Economic times most sources clearly acknowledge that the cook was originally from Bardhaman district, not Dhaka, hence we should agree on Bengal Subah as the place origin to maintain NPOV.
