Muggle is also, according to the jargon file, a term used by hackers to describe non-hackers.

Duplicate information

[edit]

Muggles redirect here, but this is largely duplicated in Muggle. -- Beardo 16:53, 3 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is redundant, so I'm currently in the process of merging this article into the main article then changing this to a redirect. — Val42 03:27, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To Infrogmation, rather than have a revert war, I think that we should discuss the issue here. I agree that this is the type of thing that a disambiguation page is normally for. However, because of the nature of the way that things are structured on the Muggle article (prior and later uses of the term), this page has become redundant, even before my edits. That is why I changed this page to a redirect. — Val42 18:59, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've already opened discussion at Talk:Muggle where I explained my reason for a revert to a disambiguation and asked for more input as to possible best ways to do this. I agree we needn't have duplicate info and shouldn't have a revert war. Shall we discuss in more detail there? Cheers, -- Infrogmation 19:59, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
