Team lists
[edit]There is absolutely zero reason to include an elongated list of winning teams in finals. Aside from being entirely unsourced, it's a WP:INDISCRIMINATE and WP:FANCRUFT violation. Please don't continue to re-add this without sources or consensus. — ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 17:32, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Tipp81: kindly read above. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 21:42, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- There is of course a reason for including this as it is adds to the historical content of the page and can act as a point of reference for people researching the club.
- Unsourced: This was sourced by researching various historical match programmes, Tipperary Year books and my own local knowledge.
- I added this section over 12 years ago along with almost everything else on this page.
- Do not undo my work again. Tipp81 (talk) 21:57, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Tipp81: There are no sources so it is still unsourced (and you cannot use "my own local knowledge" as a source on Wikipedia, per WP:V) so repeatedly adding it back over and over is a violation of Wikipedia's rules. As for "do not undo my work again", you do not own this page. See WP:OWN. Finally, per WP:ONUS, you need consensus to add content and you do not have it, so I am removing it until you can do so and find a source. Finally, be aware of our rules on edit warring as you are now veering into WP:EDITWAR territory and are liable to be blocked from editing as a result. ser! - You do not have consensus to delete this information.
- You are also in violation of Wikipedia rules by deleting original work without consensus.
- I am aware I do not own the page and I am sure you aware, you do not own it either.
- Please note, rules apply to all user of Wikipedia including your good self. Tipp81 (talk) 22:18, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- Per WP:ONUS, you need consensus to include content, not to delete it. I am in violation of no such rule. In fact, original work is actively against Wikipedia guidelines per WP:OR. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 22:28, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- You are deliberately misinterpreting what I am saying about original work to try and prove your point.
- At the end of the day you can clearly see I added this information in 2012 and you should of checked in with me first before deleting it or at least mentioned your unnecessary concerns about it being unsourced.
- Please note most information on Club GAA Wikipedia pages are unsourced. Tipp81 (talk) 22:46, 31 March 2024 (UTC)
- What exactly have I misrepresented? Genuine question because I'm trying to respond to everything you're saying. Nobody needs to check in with anyone before deleting content, per WP:OWN. As for my "unnecessary" concerns, they're not unnecessary - per WP:V everything added needs a source. I note that you've found a source, which is a good start, but the concerns about WP:INDISCRIMINATE are still not met. If you want to host elongated lists of fan cruft that are only important to some people, consider buying a website. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 09:37, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
