Contested deletion
[edit]This redirect is perfectly logical... it may even soon be expanded into an article (since every other House episode has one too, even if their quality is disputed, and furthermore if they are deleted they will be reduced to redirects... like this). I don't even understand why it would be considered for deletion, let alone speedy...That Ole' Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 15:39, 29 May 2011 (UTC)- I still contest the deletion, but my reason has changed since I saw that the editor has created a new article entitled Moving On (House episode). The article should be requested to be moved to Moving On (House), which is the name it should be given and House episode should be a redirect. - Last time I checked, WP had a search engine and hyperlinks.
It irks me to high heaven when people request deleting perfectly good information because it hasn't been filed correctly. This is not a courthouse or a bureaucracy. This is the internet and it has search engines and cross references to find that info wherever it is filed. Can we stick to discussion about the info itself and not where to file it? If there are 2 pages, fine with me. Link to both, then cross-reference. The more the merrier. If someone can join them without loss, fine. If not, let them be. Deleting or quoting policies doesn't help anyone. "Be bold" (as per WP policy :-) ) and accept this fact. 206.248.170.224 (talk) 06:47, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not a search engine, an indiscriminate collection of information, a bunch of plot-only articles, or a fan-site. Xeworlebi (talk) 07:15, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]Removed the {{notability|Episode|date=May 2011}} tag since it's irrelevant here (1:there are 2 external links to 2 other sites documenting this 2:there is the episode that speaks for itself. How many citations does one need anyway? 206.248.170.224 (talk) 06:53, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
- External links are not references, and in this case would be unacceptable as references. And there's no notability shown. See WP:GNG for further information. Xeworlebi (talk) 07:15, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Ad Abramović
[edit]"unsourced trivia"?? Does "Cresix", who deleted the information, deny the Existance of Abramović's performance? Or does he believe the writers out of pure randomness came up with something that already existed, including the hesitant assistant of the artist?
