I recently reverted an edit that was full of profanity and negative WP:POV. At first, I thought the edit was complete vandalism, however, a check of the front page of movies.com today (6/18/2008) shows an announcement that movies.com has joined the Fandango family. (Direct quote: "Movies.com has joined the Fandango family! Learn more." The "learn more" link, however, is javascript and not reproducible here.) Therefore, it may well be useful to include information about the acquisition, however I can't research and source any additional details right at the moment. The diff I reverted is here, but other than changing the owner to Fandango from The Walt Disney Company the diff was unproductive. I reverted a more substantial edit to Fandango (ticket service) by this IP at about the same time, here. ⇔ ∫ÆS dt @ 20:15, 18 June 2008 (UTC)
