What the heck does "specify a key to the movie" mean? It almost looks like someone copied and pasted a discription of karaoke and replaced "song" with "movie". Spacecat2 06:04, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rocky Horror Picture Show

[edit]

I've never been to a showing, but the way I understand it, this sort of thing was standard for showings of Rocky Horror, albeit with professionals who rehearsed the show as a play, as opposed to people just getting up to do it like karaoke. And they didn't mute the lines, they just acted them out at the same time as the show. But if I am right about it being very similar, shouldn't there be some "compare this" note somewhere, or "see also Rocky Horror" or the like? Kilyle (talk) 07:10, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seems insignificant

[edit]

Reading this article, it appears this isn't really a "thing." The top result on YouTube has 60 views, which seems wildly improbable if this is a phenomenon at all. There are no references in this article. The main links are all broken. The examples the articles gives are a stretch. Ultimately, it appears like the article was primarily written by " Anastasia Fite" to plug herself. Not sure what else to say. 128.189.151.50 (talk) 05:46, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Also, unencyclopedic bits like "participation and delight," and Anastasia being referred to by first name. It also appears there have been multiple single-purpose accounts for working on "karamovie" and "movieoke."
