Move Over Law in Ontario, Canada

[edit]

The Ministry of Transportation in the Province of Ontario, Canada has also introduced a Move Over Law in relation to OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) officers who have been killed in the line of duty. I will add it to the article accordingly. Medic48 (talk) 22:55, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

After further review, I have found all the Canadian provinces that currently have this law enacted: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. I have updated the document to include this. A news article on Nova Scotia is available here (http://www.cbc.ca/canada/nova-scotia/story/2010/06/21/ns-move-over-legislation.html). Nova Scotia enacted this law in the beginning of May. Medic48 (talk) 23:17, 23 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
