Notability

[edit]

The notability of the topic has been questioned and at present there is a notability query on the subject page.

It seems to me that Moussa Al-Maamari may meet the notability criterion under point 2 of [[1]]: "The person has made a widely recognized contribution that is part of the enduring historical record in a specific field". He built Moussa Castle, a large and prominent stone castle that is one of the most famous buildings in Lebanon. It will probably still be there, and still famous, long after most of the people considered "notable" in Wikipedia have been forgotten.

But it is only one contribution. Maybe the article should be merged into the article about the castle. Longitude2 (talk) 09:05, 23 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
