If the location of the community of Mount Signal, California is still listed in the US Geological Survey's Geographic Names Information System as of today. User:David Jordan 06-20-2008

[edit]Even if nothing else, that this community is home to the Centinela Solar Energy Project - which is itself notable - qualifies as making the community itself notable. While I agree that a fair bit of the text needs sourcing, the location is rather well-known, and even if the unsourced material were removed, there is still more that is said here about the community than there is in the very skimpy Wikipedia article about the mountain itself, especially given that the official name of the mountain is NOT Mount Signal; that's just what people on the US side of the border call it.
