The lead says, for this article, "... the term "Mount Isa Murders" here refers to the Spear Creek Killings." That confines the scope of this article to the three Mount Isa Murders, also known as the Spear Creek Killings, that occurred in 1978. It is not about any other murders in Queensland. The other murder section seems to be a collection of unconnected and possibly non-notable murders in Queensland that are not directly related to the Mount Isa Murders defined in the lead section. Just because a murder occurs in or near Mount Isa does not mean it is part of the 1978 Mount Isa Murders event or case. Each of the other listed murders should be in its own article. Wikipedia articles should be confined to the subject at hand, which, for this article, are the three killings at Spear Creek in 1978. See WP:NCRIME, WP:NEVENTS, WP:INDISCRIMINATE, WP:MURDERS and WP:MURDEROF§Single event, multiple victims, single perpetrator for more guidelines. It might help if this article's name was changed, but that is a separate issue. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 08:04, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
