What happened in 1921?

The article says:

Following the death of one of the partners in the company, Hugh Douglas Phillips, in 1921.^[1] The property was put up for auction again in 1923.

but it doesn't say what happened after Phillips' death in 1921. Presumably it should be

Following the death of one of the partners in the company, Hugh Douglas Phillips, in 1921 [... something happened ...].^[1] The property was put up for auction again in 1923.
