Plot
[edit]What, not even a plot synopsys? Is it that bad? - Redmess 00:00, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
What is this sentence supposed to mean?

What an excellent question. Two months later to the day, there still appears to be no answer. Rich (talk) 03:25, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

What Character does Zsa Zsa Gabor play?
[edit]This article had me inadvertently looking into the movie "Moulin Rouge". Zsa Zsa Gabor's performance of the signature song has always haunted me. I have tried to identify the character on and off over the years. Now with this article, here is what I discovered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjDqxuiyzB0 In the Wikipedia and the IMdB, it says Zsa Zsa played Jane Avril, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jane_Avril but Avril was a dancer whereas Zsa Zsa played a singer. The singer in Toulouse-Lautrec's life was Yvette Guilbert. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yvette_Guilbert Perhaps Hollywood has confused things again. Yvette's signature costume has her wearing long black gloves. You see them in every picture Toulouse drew of her, and you see Zsa Zsa wear them as she emerges to sing her famous song. Zsa Zsa is definitely playing Yvette. The song sung by Zsa Zsa used the voice of Muriel Smith. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muriel_Smith_(singer) Muriel also played the black dancer, Aicha, in the movie who was the rival of La Goulue. They had a fight in the opening scene. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pionade (talk • contribs) 17:17, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
