I'd oppose such a decision. Motor cognition is a rather general term, more like embodied cognition. The common coding theory is a specific theory put forward by Prinz and Hommel. I agree it would not be helpful to merge these two articles. Motor cognition is a general term that has emerged in an attempt to conceptualize the main findings from a series of interrelated research sub-disciplines, whereas the common coding theory is a specific theory. DanEaves
