American University of Cairo Press, p.92: "The portal itself is also the first to be vaulted with an array of flat muqarnas, paralleled later in the Mosque of Bashtak."; 2) Behrens-Abouseif, Doris (2007). Cairo of the Mamluks: A History of Architecture and its Culture. The American University in Cairo Press, p. 182: "The portal consists of a deep recess roofed with a flat stone muqarnas, which was a novelty in Cairo that was repeated twice later, [...]"

- New enough (created on 29 Jan), long enough, sources look great, tone is neutral, no copyvios, presentable, hook cited and is interesting, image is licensed, QPQ done. Sources taken in good faith. !
