I added the "Killarney Picnic Ground" reference because I grew up close to it (just up the track at Adare Place) back in the 60s. As a kid, I spent hours mucking around there and figured people might be curious to know about its history. I won't mention it on Wikipedia unless people find it interesting but years ago, people used to have picnic days there - coming up Middle Harbour on the ferry. My grandfather told me they used to run a two-up school - well away from the eyes of the law! Alidocious 15:33, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

and specifically what needs fixing

[edit]

the weasel words about representatives at the "vast majority of" Worlds and Olympics; the crystal-ball gazing about the tradition which "will continue"; lack of citations; lack of history.... I guess I'll just get on with it. -Sticks66 11:33, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"the only still-water rowing club on Sydney's North Shore" ? We'll surely North Shore Rowing Club is on Sydney's North Shore and SUBC too for that matter ?-Sticks66 04:10, 17 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
