This article states a lot of facts yet there is no documentation for them. Did the author report an oral tradition? 75Janice 7/27/06 1am UTC

I believe that he is real because i have done a lot of research. I could be wrong though--Brent Perry 20:15, 20 August 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brentperry14 (talkcontribs)

There's no attempt to distinguish legend from history, which makes me wonder if it's all legend. Jonathan Tweet (talk) 23:16, 28 July 2019 (UTC)

Patron saint

Is he the patron saint of all Africans or just black Africans? --Error 21:07, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Is a patron Saint of true repentance. Repentance has no color, is soul transformation. We should all follow his example. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.101.156.228 (talk) 20:03, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

answer to patron saint

i think what it symbolizes is that we are dirty without Christ. the usual color of dirtiness is black. sowhen we repent Christ forgives us and we are clean. its kinda like you bleaching clothes. if you have a stain in them then they become clean--Brent Perry 20:23, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Petra

I think that the link to Petra should not go to the Jordan site. --Error 21:13, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Reference on what churches honor St. Moses the Black

I cannot find a decent source that proves that Moses is honored by Catholics. The only catholic source that is listed on the page links to a website which references this entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.6.170.195 (talk) 06:23, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

apparently legendary

There's no writing attributed to him, and this page makes no distinction between history and legend. I don't find him mentioned in my Encyclopedia of the Christian Church, and the online references to him are all hagiographic rather than historical. Jonathan Tweet (talk) 23:17, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
