I Love seeing my families history out on the internet. Although some of the information that has been reported is inaccurate. My 3rd Great Grandfather Mose his first wife Isabella, died giving birth to Daniel-Moses's only child. The history that Mose left our family is kept in a safe and has been researched in depth by family members. Although, I appreciate the effort others outside of our family have contributed, the truth is in our family journals retrieved by Elsie and Mose Jr, Daniels children who lived with Mose Sr. at the ranch and attended school in Westfall Oregon. Mose and Mary lived at the Ranch longer then what is being reported.
Thank You

Some of the information added by a Mr. Post in his link is not accurate
FYI Update: The story is not exactly accurate. My third great grandfather Mose Worley Hart (Buried in the WestFall Cemetery 1909 next to his second wife Elizabeth had a first wife name unknown-Indian died in child birth leaving Mose with a son Daniel Mose Hart. Mose abandoned Daniel in an orphanage somewhere in Oregon. He headed to the Willamette valley met and married Elizabeth. He never returned for his son. Unsure where the orphanage was located as the records were somewhat damaged-it was later known that Daniel was raised by his adoptive parents. Moses whereabouts prior to Daniels birth was Silver City Idaho-(family journals). Mose later tries to reconnect with Daniel. Does not go well but Daniel comes to WestFall for a visit with his three children; Elsie Della hart, Mose Daniel Hart, and Julia Hart. Daniel left back to WoodRiver Oregon leaving his daughter Elsie behind to help care for Mose as he had just had Glaucoma surgery in Portland Oregon. Elsie attended the school in WestFall Oregon. Information from Elsie Hart Williams, Mose Daniel Hart, Julia Hart-passed to Margorie Story, Vie Baily, Ruth Kelley Family Journal (Mose Worley Hart Journal of Oregon, Idaho Adventures Last entry 1907) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.112.167.239 (talk • contribs) 19:53, 12 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
