Poisonous or venomous?
[edit]If the fangs function as hypodermic needles, then surely they are venomous, rather than poisonous? This also making this the only venomous crustacean (rather than poisonous). Bazza (talk) 11:49, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- In fact, the NatGeog reference article uses venomous, so I'm being bold and changing the text now. Bazza (talk) 11:51, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- Good thought. I changed one back to "poisonous fangs" though, as stated in the refs, but I think everything else is fine. ZooFari 23:28, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- The refs are referring to a toxin which is injected by means of fangs, hence "venomous" is correct. 73.223.96.73 (talk) 23:15, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
