How about this: "Morley Safer has the biggest head I've ever seen." -- Lisa Simpson
Hi, The stats in the article (in the box on the upper right) list his age as 81, but, according to his birthday, he turned 82 two days ago. Apparently, the age changes automatically, because, when I tried correcting it, it had "birth date and age" in brackets, not the number 81. Thanks! 98.125.24.147 (talk) 02:01, 11 November 2013 (UTC)Rob
Wow, you're amazing! I wrote the above 5 minutes ago and it's already corrected! Thanks, whoever you are!! 98.125.24.147 (talk) 02:06, 11 November 2013 (UTC)Rob
University of western Ontario/Harbord Collegiate Institute
[edit]I have read that Mr.Safer dropped out of school, and was given an honourary degree years later. Factcorrect12 (talk) 22:12, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
I don't think he went to Harbord Collegiate Institute. 70.30.138.75 (talk) 14:12, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
There needs to be mention made of his most important coverage of the graphic arts that appear on both 60 minutes and The CBS News Sunday Morning. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.25.209 (talk) 22:31, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
John Laurence video
[edit]I'm moving content added in this edit here for discussion. The content, an item in the Television section, read
*According to John Laurence in A Cat from Hue, in Vietnam, Safer used video shot by Laurence without attribution
The relevent cite appears to be John Laurence (2008). The Cat from Hue: A Vietnam War Story. PublicAffairs. pp. 144–147. ISBN 0-7867-2468-4. I don't see support there for an assertion that the video shot was used without attribution. One might infer that, but I do not see explicit support. [edit]forget it. Inconsequential changes are inconsequential. If it brings people joy to waste their time making such changes, who am I to stop them. --Jayron32 13:41, 20 May 2016 (UTC) |

The proper usage in AmEng is in his home. It may be other usages in other dialects, but this article uses American English. [this shows that both usages are relatively prevalent, so there is no real reason to change it to a form which is less recognizable in American English. --Jayron32 13:12, 20 May 2016 (UTC)
