Operator identity

Is there a source on the operator identity

$e^{iLt}=e^{i(1-P)Lt}+\int _{0}^{t}dse^{iL(t-s)}PLe^{i(1-P)Ls}?$

When comparing to Evans & Morriss, the second term lacks the imaginary unit. In Evans & Morriss, it reads (eq. (4.26))

$e^{iLt}=e^{i(1-P)Lt}+\int _{0}^{t}dse^{iL(t-s)}iPLe^{i(1-P)Ls}?$

That was indeed an error, equation has been fixed. Nerd2019 (talk) 12:49, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
