KIMN Pogo

[edit]

Given some of the outrageous stunts wildman Pogo pulled, there must be more interesting stories about this zany character. Wondering, too, if he interacted with the Beatles. --Doug Grinbergs (talk) 04:18, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

change page to popular/stage name?

[edit]

I think it makes sense to change the page to stage name Pogo Poge, make real name the birth name; dunno how to do that, afraid to screw things up.--Doug Grinbergs (talk) 05:02, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Checkers & Pogo YouTube videos

[edit]

Conundrum: there are some unofficial/bootleg video programs with/about Checkers & Pogo but, being unofficial, it seems wrong/inappropriate to link to them. Wishing they were official/legit for important historical reference. Will see if I can find similar info, maybe in book references via Google Books search. --Doug Grinbergs (talk) 07:24, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Checkers and Pogo page?

[edit]

The more I look into Pogo Poge and associates, the more it seems the Checkers and Pogo Show deserves its own Wikipedia page. Daily show, 15-year run, super-popular with youngsters, fondly remembered decades later. Guessing it likely won some broadcast TV awards. Anyway, kind of a drag trying to either fit C&P info here or on KGMB page - mentioned in two paragraphs - or discard. (:-( --Doug Grinbergs (talk) 08:26, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Years active 1967–1969, 1987

[edit]

The article doesn't really go in depth into those particular years. Active as what specifically? Should this be rewritten? YellowAries2010 (talk) 06:50, 1 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
