Merger proposal
[edit]There is very little information on this page, and little else, other than a few adverts, anywhere on the web about Morfa Bychan. The nearby village of Borth-y-Gest, on which there is a far more information than Morfa Bychan, is included in Porthmadog, the community of which both villages form part. It seems logical to treat Morfa Bychan the same way. The other village in the community, Tremadog is a different matter. That article contains a wealth of information and is justified in its own right. Morfa Bychan would, of course be a redirect to Porthmadog, so anyone searching for Morfa Bychan would still reach what little information there is. Skinsmoke (talk) 20:38, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- I'm personally in favour of keeping them separate - they are not the same place, just nearby. I guess I'm a bit inclusionist, but the MB article seems to have some cites, so leave it. -mattbuck (Talk) 20:52, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- Actually it has one citation. And I put that one in. I've found it impossible to verify almost anything else on the page.Skinsmoke (talk) 01:19, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- strongly oppose merge - separate places, separate article. Jeni (talk)(Jenuk1985) 17:30, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
I oppose the merge it is a separate village and should not be merged with Porthmadog. DanielR235 19:44, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
