Primary name

[edit]

Presently, in English Wikipedia Morella's primary meaning is a short story by 19th century American author Edgar Allan Poe. I think though that Morella, Spain deserves the primary meaning, for that city existed centuries before that, so that present "Morella" should be renamed Morella (story) and Morella, Spain should be under "Morella" in order to avoid ethnocentrism. The recent move from Morella, Spain to Morella (city) is undiscussed and against conventions for article naming. Jezhotwells (talk) 02:09, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have moved it to Morella, Castellon. Jezhotwells (talk) 02:20, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Many Morella people have commented to me that it is an unfortunate choice. They would have preferred Morella (city) or Morella, with the disambiguation page under Morella (disambiguation). (I am not personally connected with that town by family or else, I only sometimes bring tourists there, for it is a tourist-oriented place). You may contact Morella Town Hall directly though. There is a girl there who speaks English, but she does not edit Wikipedia.Xufanc (talk) 12:30, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The short story has already been renamed Morella (short story). Jezhotwells (talk) 02:23, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
