Is "More Music for Films" different from "Music for Films 2"?
[edit]This comment was by an anonymous IP User:86.163.21.11:
NOTE: This page mistakenly considers More Music for Films and Music for Films Volume 2 to be the same album. The entries on the 'Discogs' website clearly explain the following: Music for Films Volume 2 was only ever issued in 1983 as part of the boxed set Working Backwards. More Music for Films is a compilation issued for the first time in 2005. It includes several previously released tracks but only 7 from Music for Films Volume 2
It's not my post, but I think it's something that should be investigated. SectorSweep (talk) 06:11, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- Addendum: I guess the real question is whether or not we should split up the two albums into their own pages. SectorSweep (talk) 06:12, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- Agree that this long-standing confusion between the two albums should be resolved. I've removed the misplace material from the current article, so that the current article contains only information on More Music for Films. Note that the merge proposal is still open. Merge with Music for Films Volume 2
[edit]I propose that this article be merged with Music for Films Volume 2. FamblyCat94 (talk) 05:46, 7 May 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose: only 7 of 21 tracks on More Music for Films are from Music for Films Volume 2, so suggest that merging them isn't appropriate. Klbrain (talk) 22:44, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
