Sources for copy protection

What would qualify as a good source, if none of the ones I provided are? I don't understand what's wrong with https://www.cnet.com/tech/services-and-software/universal-copy-protected-cd-shuns-players/ as a source. Heroponrikibestest (talk) 19:03, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, my bad. For some reason I misread the edit, and thought the cnet source had also been rejected. The existing amazon source and the discogs source being removed makes sense.

That said- I'm trying to acquire the copy protected version of this album myself. Is there any way I could document the copy protection myself in a way that could be used as a source? I'd like to do so since a lot of copy protection information from regular news sources is misleading or partially incorrect, but obviously I can't use "I own this, trust me bro" as a source.
