- Well, maybe. I debated about the difference, but the region in modern terminology is always called "The Carolinas, with the "S". The Province of Carolina was relatively short-lived, and most of the family lived and served under both North and South Carolina after the time of the split. No one calls the two together "Carolina". They are always refered to in the plural. --Jayron32 20:02, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
