Any one have a picture?
[edit]If anyone has a digital image of Moody Church that they would be willing to upload, that would make a nice enhancement to this article. DFH 10:23, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Amzi Clarence Dixon
[edit]That's the full name of A. C. Dixon who pastored Moody Church after Moody’s death. DFH 22:02, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

Moody Church → The Moody Church – The official incorporated name of the church is "The Moody Church" not "Moody Church." 04:58, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
- Thank you,
- Letricia Brooks
- Assistant to the Managing Director of Operations
- The Moody Church
- Support If this is the name by which they are known, I support the move.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 19:41, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose. We use common name, not official name. And we only capitalise a definite article if it would be capitalised in running text (which is rare for anything other than an artistic work, band or something similar). See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (definite and indefinite articles at beginning of name)#Rule of thumb. -- Necrothesp (talk) 22:51, 31 July 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose per Necrothesp. Now if only we could get The Bahamas and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to follow the guidelines. Good Ol’factory (talk) 03:48, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
- Comment Is this not more akin to The New York Times, the example given in the following paragraph of Wikipedia:Naming conventions (definite and indefinite articles at beginning of name), if you bother to read on? Skinsmoke (talk) 20:48, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
- You mean in the section called "Titles of works and publications"? No, I don't think this name is a title of a work or publication. Good Ol’factory (talk) 21:44, 1 August 2011 (UTC)
