Montrose railway station → Montrose railway station (Scotland) – Not the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, it receives only 25% of the page views of ambiguous topics.[1] Montrose railway station should point to the dab page. Cúchullain t/c 16:58, 5 February 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. Montrose railway station (Caledonian Railway) is also in Scotland, apparently a former station in the same town. Besides that, Montrose Avenue (BMT Canarsie Line) is a subway station that would rarely if ever be referred to as "Montrose railway station". That's probably also true of the two CTA stations. The hatnote to the dab page seems sufficient to me. Station1 (talk) 07:45, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose. Agree with above, what evidence is there that Montrose Avenue (BMT Canarsie Line) is referred to as Montrose railway station? Zarcadia (talk) 21:50, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
- The proposed is ambiguous with Montrose railway station (Caledonian Railway). Suggest Montrose railway station (Angus, Scotland). Montrose is ambiguous. Angus is ambiguous. Montrose, Scotland is non-standard. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 09:37, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
- It's still ambiguous because Montrose railway station (Caledonian Railway) was also in Angus, Scotland. There is only one disambiguation which would work, and that is to use a former railway company. The choice is between the North British Railway (NBR) and the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER). The NBR opened the station and owned it until the end of 1922, and the LNER was created at the start of 1923 by the amalgamation of the NBR with other railways, and so continued to own the station until the start of 1948. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 11:15, 8 February 2018 (UTC)
