Montreal Football Club
[edit]It would seem that the Winged Wheelers and the Montreal Football Club are the same team and the two Wikipedia topics should be merged.
Several sources reveal this team survived until 1945 but underwent several name changes. The Montreal Football Club and Winged Wheelers both start in the same year you will notice. Here is a link to a CFL site with the teams various incarnations and years they played https://stats.cfldb.ca/team/montreal-aaa-winged-wheelers/ and here is the Wiki link to the Montreal Football Club https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Football_Club
I do not wish to edit other peoples work and I am providing this only to help improve the topic and provide more information about the team. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Armorbeast (talk • contribs) 07:54, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
It seems there are multiple entries for this team as the following
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Hornets
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Bulldogs
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Royals_(football)
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Indians
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_AAA_Winged_Wheelers
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Montreal_Football_Club
The only entry I could not find was for the Montreal AAA Football Club which they played as from April 1, 1885 to Dec. 31, 1918. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Armorbeast (talk • contribs) 08:23, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
