[edit]i will try to clean this up, but i'm busy now.-Robotam 19:06, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- I have written to the webmaster that this material was taken from to confirm if we have permission to use it. --cholmes75 (chit chat) 21:51, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
- thanks. To clarify, I did not create this article, but I have lots of info on the topic and will clean it up after I finish another project. I cleaned up enough to remove the tone template, but keep in mind this article will look a lot different when I finish. Of course I do welcome any and all edits; no one person "owns" the article.-Robotam 20:33, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
Merge, Move or Delete?
[edit]Presently, this article makes no mention of the association itself, and may qualify for AfD under WP:Notability. However, the information itself seems important enough, and the following actions may be useful:
- Merge into Montford Point
- Merge into Military history of African Americans
- Move to African Americans in the United States Marine Corps
I'll wait one or two weeks for a consensus to emerge, otherwise I'll perform one of these actions. Alternatively, other editors may add information about the association. Please leave any suggestions here. Cheers. – Liveste 03:01, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
It is important enough to stand on its own, but the article needs serious help.-Robotam 13:42, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- Hi, Robotam. If you or any other editor can provide information about the association itself, then I can wikify the article properly. A good introductory paragraph on the association itself is all the article really needs. Otherwise, the title is irrelevant and the information should be moved into another article, or the article should be renamed. I've changed the proposed actions above, after further research on Wikipedia. Cheers. – Liveste 04:59, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks! -Robotam 13:27, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
More appropriate stub created per discussion, used web page as ref--will not add other information until I can find book I planned to cite. Also removing merge template. Thanks.--Robotam 14:33, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Merge
[edit]I still really think this article does not have much to stand on its own legs. It really would be a good idea to merge into Montford Point. It would certainly help the development of the latter page. Thoughts? bahamut0013♠♣ 16:30, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
